Like the fill in the blank here we go with different versions of good news bad news.
Doctor tells patient, "Ive got good news and bad news."
Patient replies, "well what's the good news?"
"The good news is that you have only 24 hours to live," says the doctor.
Incredulously the patient replies, "what the fuck? That's the good news? What the hell could the bad news be?!?!?!"
The doctor answers, "we've been trying to reach you for the last 22 hours."

Re: Good News. Bad News.
Mon, March 3, 2008 - 6:43 AMActually I thought that if a military member wins the lotto they're automatically honorably discharged. Having that much money creates a conflict of interest, since it's more than they could ever make serving on active duty. It also opens the doors for bribery (i.e. paying off your duty section leader to get out of standing watch) and insubordination (i.e "I have more money than the Gods. I don't have to do what you say..."). At least that was the rule back in my day. It could've changed by now.
Just my .02
Oh, and
Good news: You're getting $5,000.00 back for your tax return.
Bad news: You owe your ex $14,000.00 in back child support.
(And yes, this happened to me... revenge is sweet I say...) -
