"Ba-donk-a-donk" I've heard it used in popular media A LOT recently, now I admit I'm not with the "cool/in" crowd. I'll admit I'm not up on the new cool venacular, but WHAT THE FUCK DOES BA-DONK-A-DONK MEAN?!?!?!!? Somebody tell me please. It's nonsense it's not a word I certainly couldn't find it in the dictionary. It doesn't exist, except in popular media so someone tell me what it means!!!! For now it's bull shit and I 'm tired of people using words that don't really exist except in some pansy little fucks mind. ARGHHHH!!!!!!!!! USE REAL WORDS or at least tell me what it means.

ahhhh I feel a little better now. Now someone please tell me what it means.

Let me start by respecting everyone who posted for their clear and consice answer to Ratbags question. You respect yourself wit the restraint you show...

    Now for my answer:

IT'S BULLS**T!! A phrase created by a country music band...that is only a country music band, not because they believe in that down-home feel good kinda music that had it's hand in the forging of RocknRoll, but because (and this is a direct quote) "The Girls are cleaner". In fact we are supposed to be impressed with this poor excuse for the worst reason to sell out band because they came up with a new phrase to describe the poseriors of hairspray addled, make-up dipped, mainstream, underage WHORES!! that follow them around like the they are the new mesiah!!! (huff, puff, huff puff,)

"the Girls are cleaner" Fuckin Brilliant...sign me up I'll take a Crimson Hat and boots so as to go un-noticed as I wade through a pool of their BLOOD!!!

But hey thats my take on the matter. :)

p.s. A little over the top...or what do you think? :Þ

Lance, don't feel too bad. I posted a myspace asking the general populace of riveted blog readers what the blue fuck a badonk-a-donk is.

It's a new word for big bubble butt.

Why we have to have 500 words for something 1 or 2 words will do is a freakin mystery to me. Especially a term as lame as badonk-a-donk. Sounds sorta ethnic to me.

      *shrug*

Of course just wait until the little ratbag gets to be a teen. They come up with some of the wierdest things to say. YOu look at them and go 'HUH" and they roll their eyes at you like you are the stupidest thing on the planet.

      The joys of parenthood.

YA know, sooner or late Webster's will adopt it as official lingo. Along with such recently added greats as "my bad" and "badaboom, bada bing".
But then, ya know, our parents and grand parents said the same thing about bitchin, groovy, funky, and all sorts of verbage we take for ganted today. And THEIR grandparents said the same thing to "23-scadoo" and "fiddle-de-dee".
I really like that last one- saw it in Gone with the Wind the other night. Civil War talk for "whatever".
    But- ya git my drift?

Ba-donk-a-donk is NOT repeat NOT redneck. It's ethnic ghetto.

Rednecks call it 'Big ass' plain put or "WHOOOOOO-EEEE you see that big thang?!?!?!" Just ask Larry the Cable Guy.

"Originally, the word was hip hop slang.[3] It first appeared in mass media in 2001 in a line by rapper Keith Murray in the song "Fatty Girl": "You got a badonkadonk, girl, don't hurt nobody!" The term gained a wider audience in the fall of 2002 through Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott's #2 hit "Work It" which includes the lyric "keep your eyes on my ba-bump-ba-bump-bump, and see if you can handle this ba-donk-a-donk-donk" .[4]

Throughout the 2002 season of Crank Yankers, badonkadonk was a catchword of the character Spoonie Luv [5] voiced by comedian Tracy Morgan. Morgan explained the term during his August 16, 2003 appearance on Late Night With Conan O'Brien as "one cheek goes up, badonkadonk; the other goes down, badonkadonk". The term was also featured as an example of black slang in "I Know Black People", a quiz show skit from the second season of Chappelle's Show.

The term gained a new audience in 2005 from "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk", a chart-topping country music song by Trace Adkins about a woman in a night club renowned for her dancing and her badonkadonk. This song illustrates how the term has moved beyond its African-American origins into the mainstream, although some listeners mistakenly assumed that Adkins had coined the term.[6]

In the 2006 episode of the Showtime series Weeds entitled "Last Tango in Agrestic," the term is elucidated for the main character. The term is also used in the 2006 episode "My Chopped Liver" of the NBC sitcom Scrubs.

Occasionally the term is used pejoratively such as the 2007 award-winning advertisement for Subway in which a woman at a competitor's restaurant orders "thunder thighs and a badonkadonk butt". [7]

In 2007, a new clubnight called Badonkadonk opened in central London, UK - offering retro to current indie/pop/disco/electronica music to a gay and mixed crowd of partygoers, and greatly expanding use of this slang term of the other side of the Atlantic."

honestly I feel as though there's too much effort going into a nonsense word.

                What?!?!?!?
                Are you oppressing British Gays?!?!?!?

They have as much a right to idiotic nonsense words as the next man ... even if they are sleeping with the next man.

Leicister's laws dictate (yeah ironic word choice) "no bum buggery in the ranks." Sometimes it pays to be a military historian.

As for oppressing British gays, why would I do that when there's penty enough gays to oppress here in the U.S.

(seriously though I have nothing against gay people. Matter of fact my neighbors are as queer as three dollars bills and I think they are some of the best neighbors I've ever had. Plus they are nice guys to boot. But sometimes you just gotta go for the funny)

"But sometimes you just gotta go for the funny"

                    Exactly.

I think it refers to someone with an ass that clearly has one cheek up at a time. You watch a woman like that walk by and every step is an incredible movement. you can almost envision the sound as one cheek bobs up after the other

                      badonk
                      badonk
                      badonk

                      make it slang and it's
                      badonk a donk

yes this came from the hip-hop culture.

so there is another selling out point for that "country" band.
